PRISMA Lab, with Bruno Siciliano, Vincenzo Lippiello, Fabio Ruggiero and Jonathan Cacace, is among the 13 national labs exhibiting at the 5th edition of Maker Faire Rome 1-3 December 2017. With more than 100.000 sm space, it is the most important innovation fair in Europe for a wide audience to appreciate digital culture and its applications in several sectors.
In the Life/Robots area, PRISMA Lab with its RoDyMan and KUKA LBR ii wa robots will demonstrate simulation results and interaction moments with visitors in the spirit of the innovation.
Bruno Siciliano will be among the invited speakers at the opening event The Future of Making Friday 1 December, 11:30-13:30, with the participation of the Minister for Industry and Economic Development Carlo Calenda.
Another event promoted by Bruno Siciliano will follow on Saturday 2 December, 14:30-16:30, Robots: What's Next, a conference on robotics featuring: the presentation of the book “I robot e noi” (in Italian) written by Maria Chiara Carrozza, scientist and former Minister for Education, University and Research; a panel on the ethical, legal and societal issues concerned with the world of robots; and the success stories of three young national talents.
